An opera in English, French and Anishnaabemowin combining baroque and traditional Indigenous music, Giiwedin tells the story of a 150 year old Aboriginal woman fighting for her land. Penned by Algonquin playwright Spy Dénommé-Welch with co-composer Catherine Magowan.
