In 2004, thirteen Indigenous Grandmothers from all four corners, moved bytheir concern for our planet, came together at a historic gathering, where theydecided to form an alliance : The International Council of Thirteen IndigenousGrandmothers. This is their story.
Four years in the making and shot on location in the Amazon rain forest,the mountains of Mexico, North America and are a private meeting with the DalaiLama in India, for the next Seven Generations follows what happens when thesewise women unite. Facing a world in crisis, they share with us their visions ofhealing and a call for change now, before its too late. This film documentstheir unparalleled journey and timely perspectives on a timeless wisdom.

The 7th Annual CIT Variety Showcase will be at the Native Canadian Centre of Toronto, ., on December 10, 2010,
with performances scheduled to start at 7 pm and run through to
9:30pm. The evening is by donation and all are invited to attend.
