Members & Special Guests of the Association for Native Development in the Performing &

will take place on Friday, August 20, 2010 at the Artscape Wychwood Barns, 601 Christie Street
in the Community Gallery. The Annual General Meeting will take place from 4:00 pm - 5:00
pm.
COMMUNITY FEAST
A Community Feast prepared by the talented chef Kai Zyganiuk will immediately follow up the
AGM. Enjoy a meal that mixes traditional & contemporary foods.
CELEBRATION OF LIFE PERFORMANCE ON ORAL STORIES
Following the Community Feast, ANDPVA will present a Celebration of Life Performance on
Oral Stories, a special performance led by the youth from our Indigenous Youth Leadership
Training program. Our youth have been working hard at various workshops including Shadow
Puppet Making with Red Pepper Spectacle, Improv with Herbie Barnes, Dancing with Christine
& Lydia Taranko as well as upcoming workshops with Sadie Buck in Six Nations, Silk-
Screening with Red Pepper & PSA Development with Bernard Leroux to name a few.
The goal of the program is to collect oral stories from Elders & Knowledge Keepers and than
create a multi-disciplinary performance interpreted by the youth about the oral stories they've
gathered.
